“The store sells the paint for $179.40 for just 40 ML.”
YInMn Blue came out of an Oregon State lab in 2009. It took more than a decade to reach a paint tube. Forty milliliters costs $179.40, against $8.70 for a bigger tube of ordinary acrylic. Rare earth elements make for a rare price.
