X changes its terms to bar training of AI models using its content

“Social network X has changed its developer agreement to prevent third parties from using the platform’s content to train large language models.”

In October 2024 X let third parties train on posts. In March 2025 xAI bought X. Now third parties are banned from training on X content, and xAI is not a third party. Users wrote the content and get no say in any of it.
