“Based on this WJLX lost its tower sometime between October 2022 and March 2023.”
WJLX’s general manager says he learned on February 2 that his station’s 190-foot tower had vanished. Forum members pulled Google Street View from the I-22 bridge and found it gone by March 2023. The site’s door hung by one hinge and the power meter was missing. Either a thief hauled off 190 feet of steel or nobody at the station looked out the window for a year.
