The interesting part of WebGPU is not prettier games. It is raw GPU compute from a web page, with no plugin and no install. That is great for physics sims in the browser. It is also great for any site that wants to run its workloads on your graphics card. And in March 2022 it only works in Chrome and Firefox behind a flag.
