The Postal Service visits every address in the country six days a week. Put cameras on the trucks and you have the most complete street-level surveillance network ever built. The stated goal is mapping and “community safety.” Data collected for one purpose never stays there. Ask anyone who has had a license plate reader hand their location to a cop.
