“As a course of immediate action, our collective of game development companies is forced to turn off all IronSource and Unity Ads monetization across our projects until these changes are reconsidered.”
Azur Games, Voodoo, Homa and 18 other mobile studios signed this letter. They are not threatening to switch engines. They are switching off IronSource and Unity Ads today, which hits Unity’s revenue now instead of in 2024. Unity claimed the Runtime Fee touches only 10% of the industry, and these studios call that patently false.
