“Tiny11 is an OS that lives up to its name by shrinking a standard Windows 11 install down from 20GB+ on disk to approximately 8GB and “runs great” on a system with just 2GB of RAM.”
One developer, NTDev, cut Windows 11 Pro from more than 20GB to about 8GB and dropped the TPM and processor checks that lock older PCs out of the upgrade. Calc, Notepad, Paint and the Store all survived. The catch is that it can’t be serviced, so new features and languages are off the table. Twelve of the 20GB Microsoft installs serve Microsoft, not the user.
