Iran’s firewall drops the handshake instead of blocking the IP, inspects every international peering point, and shuts mobile internet down every afternoon. Volunteer relays survive hours or days. VPN sites are blocked, and VPN apps already installed can’t register. THC says China runs this as a service. Censorship is now an export product.
