Streaming text, shimmer placeholders and sparkle icons have become the standard visual tell that a feature calls a model. Some of it is honest signaling of latency, since token-by-token output genuinely arrives that way. The rest is decoration bolted onto a text box to justify the price tag. None of it improves the output. It makes the waiting look intentional.
