Tesla spent a decade insisting Autopilot was safer than humans. The data they were collecting that whole time disagreed with the marketing. Now the court has the numbers, the public has the numbers, and the gap is not even close. The company will keep selling the dream because the dream is the entire valuation thesis. The data will keep showing what the data has always shown.
