“The Skolplattform, which has cost more than 1 billion Swedish Krona, SEK, ($117 million), has failed to match its initial ambition.”
Stockholm spent $117 million on a school platform with a 1.2 star Android app and a GDPR fine. Three parents built a working replacement on top of it in a few weeks. The city’s own security review found the parents’ app safe. The city reported them to the police anyway, and the police found nothing criminal. Embarrassing the city was the only offense.
