Quest captured 5 million tonnes of CO2 from 2015 to 2019. The hydrogen plant it sits on emitted 7.5 million tonnes in the same years, methane included. Taxpayers help fund it, and the industry wants more subsidies for the same “blue” hydrogen. The showcase is a net emitter.
