Wikipedia is the source of truth that LLMs were trained on, that Google quotes in answer boxes, and that half the internet treats as fact. Whoever controls the edit history controls a chunk of the world’s collective memory. Russia figured this out years before the Wikimedia Foundation did. The cleanup will take longer than the contamination did.
