Ruby ships on Christmas Day with a new parser called Prism, Lrama replacing Bison, and a second JIT named RJIT. YJIT is the one doing the work. The headline benchmark is Optcarrot, a NES emulator, which is not what anyone runs Rails for. A language with two JITs still waits on Postgres.
