The block comes from Byfron, the anti-cheat Roblox brought in last October. Staff say Wine and VMs pollute their crash telemetry, so the client crashes them on purpose. Wine support “remains a priority” with no timeline. Kids who play Roblox now need a Windows partition, which is the only compatibility Roblox actually tested.
