“Apollo made 7 billion requests last month, which would put it at about 1.7 million dollars per month, or 20 million US dollars per year.”
Reddit wants $12,000 per 50 million API calls. Imgur charges Christian Selig $166 for the same volume. Selig estimates Reddit earns $0.12 a month per user, and it wants $2.50 a month for each Apollo user. That is an eviction notice, not a price.
