Oracle refuses to yield JavaScript trademark, Deno Land says

“Deno Land also accused Oracle of committing fraud in its trademark renewal efforts in 2019 by submitting screen captures of the website of JavaScript runtime Node.js, even though Node.js was not affiliated with Oracle.”

Oracle got the JavaScript trademark by buying Sun and does nothing with it. Deno asked the USPTO to cancel it and Oracle refused to let go. The renewal evidence was screenshots of Node.js, a project Oracle has nothing to do with.
