Oracle is moving GraalVM’s JIT compiler and Native Image into OpenJDK. The polyglot parts, the reason many people care about Graal, stay with Oracle. Open source the piece the Java ecosystem needs, and keep the differentiator. That’s Oracle’s version of generosity.
