Using Claude Code: The unreasonable effectiveness of HTML

Thirty years of frontend abstractions piled on top of a markup language that already worked, and the LLMs cut through all of it. The model writes plain HTML faster, cleaner, and with fewer bugs than React. The lesson is not about Claude. It is that most of the frontend industry has been building scaffolding to solve problems that did not exist.
