NASA has a spare nuclear-powered rover chassis built for Mars and nowhere to send it, so now it’s going to the Moon instead. That’s not visionary planning. That’s a budget line item looking for a mission after the original one got cut or delayed. Repurposing hardware is smart engineering. Selling it as bold ambition is just spin on top of a parts bin.
