France’s leading AI startup just borrowed $830 million to buy 13,800 Nvidia GPUs. That is not a business plan. That is a hardware acquisition funded by debt. Mistral wants 200 megawatts of capacity across Europe by end of 2027. The race to build AI infrastructure is now a race to see who can borrow the most money the fastest.
