Azure’s free exit only applies if you cancel every Azure subscription first and then claim a rebate. It covers storage data only, so CDN transfers still bill at the standard rate. Anyone who wants to keep one foot in Azure still pays egress past 100GB a month. Microsoft calls it customer choice. The EU Data Act, which applies from next year, made the choice for them.
