Windows 11 24H2 briefly let users remove Recall, the Copilot+ feature that screenshots everything on screen. Microsoft says the uninstall option was the bug and promises to fix it. Recall is already under investigation by the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office. Microsoft calls it opt-in, but it decides whether the screenshot engine stays on your disk.
