After Windows update KB5034204, Edge copies open Chrome tabs on launch with the import setting switched off. If you’re signed in, that data syncs to Microsoft’s cloud. Microsoft declined to comment and an anonymous source blamed a sync bug. A bug that only ever moves data toward Microsoft isn’t a bug.
