Microsoft’s C/C++ extension now refuses to run in VSCodium and Cursor. The license has banned that since 2020, and enforcement arrived right after Microsoft launched its own Copilot agent mode. Cursor reportedly proxied Microsoft’s marketplace against its terms. Neither side has clean hands.
