“Sometimes Copilot will be right, other times usefully wrong”
Microsoft’s launch post for GPT-4 in Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams pre-spins the errors as “usefully wrong.” The proof of productivity is a GitHub survey where 88% of developers say they feel more productive. Copilot gets real-time access to your company data in the Microsoft Graph, and “usefully wrong” output lands in your documents and email. A tool that is wrong on schedule is still wrong. Microsoft found a nicer word for it.
