Zuckerberg made AI the company’s only priority and the org chart followed. Promotions go to whoever ships an AI feature, even if the feature is a joke. The result is what you would expect when a 70,000 person company stops caring whether the work is any good. The product gets worse, the engineers who can leave, leave, and the ones who stay learn to fake it.
