Lotus 1-2-3 for DOS only knew a few fixed text resolutions. Tavis Ormandy wanted it full screen in an xterm. He pulled the driver API out of debug symbols left in a SPARC library and an old printer driver. Then he wrote a new display driver for software that died decades ago. That is more support than Lotus ever gave it.
