“Our customers’ passwords remain safely encrypted due to LastPass’s Zero Knowledge architecture.”
In August someone stole LastPass source code and said nothing else was taken. Three months later the attacker used that haul to get into the cloud storage LastPass shares with its parent GoTo. The reassurance is the same as last time. When a password manager gets breached twice in a quarter, “remain safely encrypted” is the only line they have left. Watch for the next update.
