“Due to this event, the Company incurred approximately $2.3 million of additional expenses and believes that it lost approximately $15 million of revenue during the fourth quarter”
Black Basta hit Keytronic on May 6 and shut its US and Mexico sites for two weeks. In June the company admitted to about $600,000 in costs. Now it is $2.3 million in expenses plus $15 million in lost revenue, offset by a $0.7 million insurance gain. Every security budget that got cut to save a few hundred thousand dollars should be measured against that number.
