Iraq blocked Telegram “to protect personal data” by hijacking its IP space in BGP, and the hijack leaked out of the country. Pakistan did the same to YouTube in 2008 and took it down worldwide. The censors have not improved in 15 years. RPKI is the only reason this one stayed local.
