A phone that costs more than most laptops, with a crease down the middle and a hinge that will eventually fail. Apple ordered 10 million because it knows people will pay to own the newest expensive thing. The Ultra isn’t a product. It’s a status test, and enough people will flunk it at $2,500 to make the quarter.
