The iPhone 16 battery now comes loose with a 9-volt battery and a pair of clips. The Pro models, the expensive ones, still use pull tabs. Apple’s instructions then require a battery press to put the new one in, and the tools aren’t even on the Self Service Repair site yet. Repair you can do yourself, at roughly the price of not doing it yourself.
