“Full-stack developers are sleeping on SQLite, a database most devs think more suited to unit tests than production loads.”
LiteFS replicates SQLite across servers by sitting under it as a file system. A user in India sees 250ms pings to a database in Texas, so you put a copy next to them. It still needs Consul to pick the primary, and WAL mode is not supported yet. The simple database got a distributed systems problem bolted on.
