Inkbase turns iPad sketches into live, reactive objects you can program, like spreadsheet cells drawn by hand. The authors admit the programming part, the actual point, isn’t solved. Ink and Switch publishes its failures along with its demos, which is rare. Most research labs would have called this a product launch.
