“We are not using your identity data to train our models.”
Anthropic now wants your government ID to use Claude. The promise is they will not train on it, which is what every company says right before the policy quietly changes. A third party named Persona holds the data, so Anthropic gets to claim clean hands. Verifying your identity to talk to a chatbot is the surveillance creep nobody asked for.
