“We have generated the first early human egg cells (‘primary oocytes’) derived from stem cells.”

Notice who’s making this claim. It’s Conception’s own blog, announcing Conception’s own breakthrough, with zero peer review in sight. “Primary oocytes” are an early precursor cell, not a mature egg ready to fertilize. That gap between press release and product is exactly where fertility startups have burned investor money for a decade. Solving infertility this way is a real goal. Announcing it on your own company blog before anyone else can check your work is a marketing strategy.
