The recipe is change requirements late, add pointless rituals, hold ten engineers hostage in a design debate and let builds take at least 20 seconds. Nobody on the list writes bad code. They write meetings, tickets and lengthy documents shared as widely as possible. Every company has a few of these, and most of them got promoted.
