“I want to make it clear: all these findings prove that the bug is NOT an issue with Windows 11 24H2, as things like the way the stack is used by internal WinAPI functions are not contractual and they may change at any time, with no prior notice.”
A Windows 11 update broke a seaplane in GTA San Andreas because of a config value missing for 20 years. The game had been reading leftover stack data the whole time. Rockstar fixed it on Xbox and never patched the PC version. Windows changed nothing it ever promised to keep the same.
