Google put fake satellite image generation inside the product people use to check what is actually on the ground. Within hours users made a fake Iranian nuclear plant and a fake bomb crater near a Gaza hospital. Google pulled it after one day. The images it produced stay out there, and every real satellite photo of a war zone now comes with a ready-made excuse to dismiss it.
