The AlphaGenome Atlas predicts how a given DNA change affects gene expression, which is real, useful biology. It’s free for noncommercial research right now, with what Google calls “potential for commercial licensing” down the line. That phrase is the standard prelude to a paywall going up on the thing that was given away to build goodwill. Use the open period while it lasts.
