“The location metadata available to the runtime is now accurate to original Gleam source code, rather than to the Erlang source code.”

Gleam now emits Erlang abstract forms, and a test build drops from about 500ms to about 100ms. The better part is the stack traces. They now point at the Gleam code you actually wrote instead of generated Erlang. Compile-to-source languages almost never fix that.
