Clarke has been at decentralization since 1999 and the update is four working applications: group chat, publishing, search and a git layer. That is real shipped code, not a manifesto. It is also a fraction of what the original Freenet promised, arriving after two decades in which centralized platforms won everything. The people who need this most are the ones least likely to hear it exists.
