The 440GB came off Fortinet’s SharePoint, with customer data sitting on a third-party cloud file drive. The thief, “Fortibitch,” demanded a ransom and Fortinet refused. Fortinet won’t say how many customers or what data, only a percentage. The company sells the boxes that keep attackers out and could not keep its own files in.
