Florida judge rules red light camera tickets are unconstitutional

Red light cameras have always been a revenue scheme dressed up as safety. The vendor takes a cut, the city takes a cut, and the driver is the only party not represented in the transaction. The court figured out the part everyone else has been looking at sideways for fifteen years. The vendor is the one writing the ticket. That is the legal problem, and it has always been the legal problem.
