“Kivimäki was ultimately convicted of orchestrating more than 50,000 cybercrimes.”
Julius Kivimäki got a 2-year suspended sentence and a EUR 6,558 forfeiture for those 50,000 crimes because he was 17. Years later he’s charged with extorting Vastaamo and leaking therapy notes for more than 22,000 patients. He left his own home folder, SSH keys included, in the leaked archive. French police only caught him because a domestic violence call turned up a sleeping man with a fake Romanian ID.
