Operation Morpheus ran since 2021 and ended with 593 servers offline. Cobalt Strike is Fortra’s commercial red-team tool, and cracked old versions have turned up in Ryuk, Trickbot and Conti investigations. Three years of police work took down IP addresses, and 97 of the flagged ones stayed up. The cracked copies are still out there.
