“Just about every key lock in the world today has the same fundamental flaw.”

A normal lock checks the key at the moment you insert it, so a picker can feel each pin set. Magill’s design lets any key turn partway, then seals the mechanism off from the keyway before it checks anything. There is nothing left to feel. Lock makers have sold “harder to pick” for a century. This one goes after the actual design flaw.
