“Privacy-centered search engine DuckDuckGo has completely removed the search results for many popular pirates sites including The Pirate Bay, 1337x, and Fmovies.”
DuckDuckGo killed about 2,000 pirate bangs and promised the sites would stay in search results. Now they are gone, and so is the official site for youtube-dl, which is open source software. Google once sent users to DuckDuckGo to find Pirate Bay proxies. Now the privacy alternative filters harder than Google.
