The official Syncthing app for Android ships its last release with the December 2024 version. The maintainer blames Google Play publishing first and the lack of active maintenance second. Without Play releases, keeping the app alive stopped being worth it. Local file sync with no cloud account is exactly the kind of app Google’s store has no reason to help.
